Available Sunday to Thursday throughout the English school summer holidays, our Young Adventurer Sleepover Package offers a fun and memorable overnight experience for young explorers.
​
Enjoy exclusive hire of the barn for £120, accommodating up to 12 guests aged 9–16 for a special sleepover with friends. Each booking must include at least one parent or carer aged 25 or over, with a maximum of four adults attending.

Guests can make the most of our spacious outdoor area, complete with picnic tables and a firepit—perfect for toasting marshmallows, sharing stories, and enjoying time together under the evening sky.

Hudscales is situated at the foot of the North Lakeland Fells on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Ideal for walking and is on the Cumbria Way and Reivers Cycle routes. It is part of a range of traditional farm buildings in an idyllic and peaceful setting. Two miles from the villages of Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket with pubs and shops to cater for all needs.
About the Barn

Hudscales Camping Barn is part of a group of well maintained farm buildings on a working beef and sheep farm, sitting at 1,000 ft on the northernmost flank of the Lakeland Fells, overlooking the villages of Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket. On the edge of the Lake District National Park it offers great access to the Northern Fells and will give walkers and hikers access to incredible scenery.
The barn offers a traditional way of reconnecting with nature and exploring the world famous UNESCO heritage Lake District National Park while also being just 30 minutes from Carlisle.

Ideal for walkers it is situated on the Cumbria Way and Reiver Cycle Routes. Great for weekend gatherings of family and friends in an idyllic and peaceful setting.

The barn has a sleeping area with adjoining cooking and dining area with wood burning stove for added comfort. Upstairs a games room with pool table and darts. Shower and electric plug sockets are powered by a coin meter which accepts £1 coins.The barn is kept very simple and the maximum group size is 12.
Perfect for individual travellers or groups, the room is non-smoking. A tranquil escape from the stresses of modern day living.
Amenities include: Water, Toilet, Shower, Wood burning stove, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave, Fridge, BBQ and Fire pit.

Price is £15.00 per person per night or £180 for sole use.

The barn facilities are basic so just imagine that you are coming camping and bring everything with you apart from your tent. To help us keep the prices low, visitors are asked to leave accommodation clean and tidy.
